Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database environments, including Exadata infrastructure.
Administer and maintain Oracle Exadata systems, including Compute Nodes, Storage Cells, and InfiniBand networks.
Monitor and optimize Exadata performance using built-in tools (e.g., AWR, ADDM) and troubleshoot using Exadata-specific utilities such as CellCLI and dcli.
Apply patches and firmware updates for Exadata hardware and software components.
Configure and maintain dashboards, metrics, and automation within Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
Perform capacity planning, compliance monitoring, and performance reporting using OEM.
Design and implement real-time data replication solutions using Oracle Golden Gate (OGG).
ZFS storage system management
Monitor and troubleshoot OGG configuration, replication issues, and data synchronization between source and target databases.
Upgrade and patch Golden Gate environments as needed.
Conduct database backups, restoration, and disaster recovery testing, including high-availability solutions and disaster recovery planning.
Perform schema management, table partitioning, and storage optimization.
Analyze and optimize SQL queries, indexes, and database configurations for performance tuning.
Resolve performance bottlenecks using tools such as SQL Trace and Oracle Performance Analyzer.
Ensure seamless integration and performance by working with storage and network teams.
Provide on-call support for critical production environments.
Ensure database security best practices, including encryption and auditing.
Expertise in Oracle versions 12c and later, with proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database internals.
Requirements
Certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Exadata Certification are preferred.
