Overview
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage AWS services (EC2, CloudWatch, CloudFront) for high availability and performance.
- Analyze and optimize cloud costs while implementing best practices for security and scaling.
- Automate routine AWS tasks using scripting or configuration tools.
- Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipeline practices.
- Manage and optimize Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB for performance and reliability.
- Perform database backups, recovery, and maintenance tasks.
- Use Linux CLI commands for server administration, troubleshooting, and task automation.
- Develop basic scripts in Python, SQL, or Bash for automation.
- Collaboration and Documentation
- Collaborate with development teams for web application deployment and maintenance.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement infrastructure changes and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
- Write and troubleshoot SQL queries, ensuring database integrity.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization for databases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in application/web servers (e.g., Tomcat).
- Set up and manage monitoring tools like Dynatrace to track application performance.
- Optimize system performance using load balancers (e.g., HAProxy).
- Manage distributed caching solutions like Hazelcast and messaging services like RabbitMQ.
- Ensure high availability and fault tolerance in infrastructure components.
- Proficient in application architecture troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Oracle DBA, or Linux certifications).
